Christmas Eve Snow Falling in the New York Tri-State Region...

Having snow falling on the night of Christmas Eve is rare in New York City but tonight snow is falling this evening.  Snow amounts will range from a coating on grassy surfaces to up to 1 to 2 inches in the northern and western suburbs on New York City.  Radar is indicating snow with some sleet mixing in from central New Jersey, across the city, Long Island, southwest Connecticut, southern New York and parts of eastern Pennsylvania at 9:15 p.m. this evening.  The snow has changed over to rain now in central New Jersey near Perth Amboy.  Have a Merry Christmas!
