Wide Range in Accumulations Here in NYC Metro Area Heavy Snow South!





There is a big change in snow accumulation over a small area just as predicted by the models. The heaviest snow has fallen from central NJ southward to northern VA and eastern MD and DE.

Only a trace as of 10 AM in Manhattan, 1 to 2 inches in Coney Island and 2 to 3 inches in Perth Amboy, NJ.

Blizzard Warnings and Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect through this afternoon. Strong winds will create 3 to 5 foot drifts in these areas. Little if any snow will fall north of NYC with only an inch or less in Manhattan expected.
