Huge Area of Snow Moving Into the Mid-Atlantic States This Afternoon and Evening

The major winter storm continues to spread a huge about of snow and rain from the Mid-Atlantic states to the Deep South. Winter Storm Warnings and Blizzard Warnings remain in effect. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for NYC and Long Island. The snow will became even heavier tonight with 12 to 24" expected in and around Washington, DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
