First Snowfall of Fall Season in Tri-State Area...
The season's first snowfall in parts of the Tri-State New York area came early this year. Last year in October 2008, a storm produced heavy snow in northern New Jersey upstate New York and interior Connecticut a few days before Halloween. Another coastal storm is expected to follow the same track producing more wet snow across the interior Saturday night and early Sunday. Once again wind gusts are expected to reach more than 40 mph.
