Early Nor'easter Will Bring Strong Winds, Rain and Snow to Interior Sections!

An early fall nor'easter will produce strong gusty winds and heavy rain through Friday. Occasional rain and very cool temperatures will be present in the Northeast through the weekend. The map below indicates the latest NAM computer model forecast for Friday evening at 8 PM EDT. Snow will mix in with the rain as you move to the northern and west suburbs of New Jersey and Upstate New York. As much as 1 to 4 inches of snow can be expected in the higher elevations of Sussex County, New Jersey, the Poconos of Pennsylvania and Orange and Sullivan Counties of New York. The rain will persist as another slow moving area of low pressure moves across Delaware on Saturday and Sunday. Stay dry!
