Latest Model Guidance and Hurricane Sandy Track...

The models are coming into better agreement on the 12 Z or 8 AM runs. Sandy is forecast to track close to Atlantic City or Cape May at 8 AM on Tuesday making landfall as a Category 1 storm with 80 mph sustained winds.  The CMC, GFS and NAM models bring the storm in closer to Long Island and New York City while the European model brings the storm in closer to Delaware.  The central pressures are quite low in the 28.50" to 28.70" range near landfall.
