Second Significant Snowfall of December for the NYC Metro Area on Friday into Saturday Morning...4 to 8 Inches Expected...

An area of low pressure now centered over the upper Midwest this morning will track southeastward spreading a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain to the Mid-Atlantic States and New York City. Only snow is forecasted for NYC and northern New Jersey with sleet and freezing rain mixing in across portions of Central and Southern New Jersey.  The snow is expected to begin late Friday or Friday evening and will be out to sea by noon on Saturday.  A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for 4 to 8 inches of snow by noon Saturday.  Rain is forecast on Sunday with a hard freeze for Monday with lows in the 20s.  Have a great holiday.
