Heaviest Snowfall Since January 28-29, 2022 for New York City...Frigid Arctic Cold to Follow on Sunday into Next Week

A cold front will move through the region later today with occasional light rain. Low pressure will form off the Southeast coast tonight and will rapidly track northeastward. The models are indicating that snow will spread into the NYC metro area Sunday afternoon and it will continue to fall into the early morning hours of Monday, Martin Luther King Day.  Temperatures will fall into the single digits throughout the region Monday and Tuesday morning with wind chills below zero.  There is a chance of some more light snow later this week on Wednesday and Friday.
