First Accumulating Snow of the Winter 2025-26 Season for the New York City Metro Area Saturday Night and Sunday Morning...

A fast moving area of low pressure over the Ohio Valley will track east of New Jersey Sunday morning.  An area of light snow will spread across the Tri-State region late Saturday night into Sunday morning. The snow will be light and is expected to accumulate 1 to 3 inches before ending by the early afternoon on Sunday.  Another round of Arctic air moves in Sunday night into the middle of next week.  A warmup is on the way late this week with temperatures around 50 by Thursday.
