Debby Came Ashore Earlier Today with 50 mph Winds in South Carolina, Heavy Rains will Produce Flooding Today, 1 to 2 Inches for NYC
Hurricane Debby came ashore along the west coast of Florida on Monday, the storm weakened and tracked across northeast Florida out in the ocean and came ashore again ass a tropical storm along the South Carolina coast this morning. As much as 20 inches of rain is forecast along the coast of South Carolina that will lead to catastrophic flooding. Tornado watches, Flood watches and warnings are in effect. The storm will track into Pennsylvania and western New York State on Friday. One to 2 inches of rain is forecast for New York City and surrounding suburbs. Sunshine back Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
