Third Nor'easter of the Month Will Produce Strong Winds, Coastal Flooding and Heavy Snow to Eastern Long Island and Coastal New England Tomorrow...
An intensifying storm off the North Carolina coast will track north-northeast tonight and Tuesday producing blizzard conditions along the New England Coast on Tuesday. In the city and across New Jersey, only light snow can be expected with 1 to 2 inches possible. As much as 8 or 10 inches can be expected across eastern Long Island with 16 to 20 inches possible in Boston. Power outages that have recently been repaired can perhaps occur again. The NYC metro area will be grazed with the precipitation and with temperatures above freezing, only light accumulations are expected mainly on grassy surfaces. Cold, windy conditions with snow showers can be expected on Wednesday. It will be cold through Saturday with a moderation in temperature on Sunday. The GFS model is hinting at a potential weaker storm early next week.
