Arctic Cold Tonight and Tomorrow from the Northern Plains to the Southeast...

Wind Chill Advisories and Warnings are posted for tonight for a large area of the country from Minnesota to Florida.  Wind chills are forecast to be as low as 35 below zero in Minnesota and the Great Lakes, 10 below in New York and as low as 15 to 25 above in northern Florida. Ground blizzard conditions will occur tonight and early Thursday for portions of North Dakota, northwest Minnesota and South Dakota. Forecast lows tonight include -14 at International Falls, -8 in Chicago, -9 in Indianapolis, 2 in Pittsburgh, -26 in Caribou, 7 in New York City and 7 in Philadelphia.  Winds tonight in New York City are forecast to gust to 35 mph and a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect.
