Atlantic City Pressure at 28.98" Blizzard Warning, Heavy Snow, Peak of Storm Beginning







The latest radar continues to show heavy snow across the NYC metro area all the way down to Virgina and out to Pennsylvania. The Atlantic City AP pressure was 28.98 inches at 2 PM. At 1 PM a total of 5 inches had fallen in Central Park. Here in Manhattan, the storm has begun it's peak with strong winds gusting to 35 mph, large flakes of heavy snow, snow covered roads and sidewalks. The snow will continue heavily through tonight accumulating 10 to 18 inches or more in some locations where heavy mesoscale banding sets up.

This is a very strong storm and Blizzard Warnings remain in effect through 6:00 a.m. Thursday.
