Violent Winds and Flooding Early then Clearing, Colder Christmas Day...

An intense southern jet stream has brought very mild, windy and wet weather for Christmas Eve and early Christmas Day.  Low pressure will track into New England early Friday morning dragging a cold front through the Northeast.  The weather will be colder, windy and drier with lake effect snow and scattered flurries and snow showers over New England.  Wind gusts from 50 to 60 mph will occur.  High Wind Warning along the coast and High Wind Advisory inland.  Flood watches are in effect. Have great holiday and New Years.
