Freezing Rain, Sleet and Snow Across the New York City Metro Area, Heavy Snow for Coastal New England Tonight and Monday
Snow, sleet and freezing rain this morning across the New York City metropolitan area from eastern PA, central and northern NJ, Long Island, the Lower Hudson Valley and CT. Another major winter storm for Boston as low pressure intensifies later today producing 10 to 14 inches of snow and blizzard or near blizzard conditions. At 1:00 p.m. Central Park is reporting freezing rain, 32 degrees. The weather will be dry for the remainder of the week in the NYC metro area with near seasonable temperatures. The GFS model is hinting at a significant storm that is likely to produce rain for the city late next week.
