Heavy Snow for Tonight for NYC Tri-State Region...






The storm that brought the snow will move inland across the city into NJ tonight with strong winds gusting to 40 mph and snow, heavy at times. At 9 PM a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through Saturday morning. A total of 15 to 20 inches can be expected across northern NJ and up to 12 inches in the city and 4 to 8 inches in Long Island. The storm will weaken Friday afternoon and the snow will become lighter but snow showers can linger into Saturday morning
