Snow Showers and Flurries Falling Tonight in NYC Metro Area...

Light snow and snow showers are falling in and around the NYC metro area during the overnight hours on this Saturday morning. Only a dusting to perhaps one-half over eastern Long Island and Connecticut is expected. The radar indicates that the snow is more extensive over coastal New England and upstate New York. Low pressure over the St. Lawrence river valley is generating the snow (see surface map).
