Gusts to 50 mph across the Northeast Today with Heavy Rain...

Strong winds and heavy rains for the Northeast today with heavy thunderstorms possible. A Wind Advisory is in effect for most of the Northeast and the NYC metro area for today for wind gusts to 50 mph.  A Coastal Flood Advisory is also in effect for the NYC metro area.  A cold front with a strong southerly wind will move across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states today.  Drier weather tomorrow.
