Potential for Light Snow Sunday and Monday Here in NYC Metro Area...

There is a chance of light snow Sunday and early Monday as an intensifying storm passes well to the south and east of New York City and Long Island. The NAM and GFS have now brought the precipitation closer to the city and have intensified the amplitude of the upper-level trough so that moisture from the storm may graze the NYC metro area with snow and higher amounts across Long Island and southeast coastal Connecticut. More updates on this storm later this week.
